hackerspace.london

hackerspace.london is a new initiative aimed at creating a hackerspace for young people interested in engineering, computers and similar disciplines in and around London.

Our goal is to provide a dedicated space for these individuals to meet one another, pursue their own projects, learn new skills, and contribute to a thriving tech community.

What is a hacker space?

A hackerspace, also sometimes known as a makerspace, is a not for profit community operated space for like-minded individuals.

Our journey began after ending up at a hackerspace in Beligum, inspired by what we saw, we returned to the UK only to find the market fairly lacking for similar communities. Recognising the demand for such a space in London, we decided to see what we could do.

hackerspace.london will serve as a hub where young engineers can:

Get Involved

We have a strong core group of individuals in industry who are interested in making this happen, and we are confident that there is a demand for such a thing.

Organising and arranging such a space will be no easy task, which is why we are looking for others to get involved however they can.

Your support is crucial for the success of hackerspace.london. By getting involved, you will directly contribute to the development of an environment where young talent can grow, innovate, and connect. Here's how your company can make a difference:

Investing in hackerspace.london means investing in the future of technology and innovation. We invite you to join us in this mission to empower young engineers in London. For more information on sponsorship opportunities and how you can contribute, please contact us at [email protected].

Together, we can build a space that not only supports the growth of young engineers but also contributes to the broader tech ecosystem in London.

We'd like to collect interest to see how we can make this a sustainable initiative. It's crucial that we can reach out to everyone who would like to be involved and collect their feedback.
